§ 10-102. Special event licenses.

  • In addition to the supplemental license for live entertainment provided for in this chapter, the commissioner may issue or refuse to issue a special event supplemental license which shall authorize a class A, B or D license holder to provide or permit the performance of live entertainment during a limited period not to exceed 72 hours. The provisions of this chapter regarding live entertainment supplemental licenses are applicable to a special event supplemental license except for the limited time period and the fee. The special event supplemental license fee may be waived by the commissioner if the event is public or charitable in nature. Application for a special event supplemental license shall be made not less than 14 days prior to the event.
