§ 14-40. Redemption of impounded animals.

The owner of an impounded animal may redeem the animal by payment of the impoundment fee established by the village board of trustees. If the owner declines to redeem the animal, or fails to redeem the animal within the time permitted in this article, any other person may redeem the animal by payment of the impoundment fee.
