§ 10-68. Class G license.

  • (a)

    Class G licenses shall authorize the retail sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the premises of a rental hall business when such retail sale is made by the person who operates the rental hall business and the sale of alcoholic liquor is only incidental to the food services; provided that such function is not open to the general public but only to invited guests and provided, further, that:

    (1)

    The sale of alcoholic liquor is in bulk to the person or organization conducting the function and no charge is made to persons being served individual drinks; or

    (2)

    The sale is made directly to persons being served by the person who operates the rental hall business in the manner commonly referred to as a cash bar.

    (b)

    Notwithstanding the foregoing, the licensee may sell alcoholic liquor at events open to the general public, but otherwise in compliance with this section, on no more than six days during any calendar month. The licensee shall notify the village of any proposed sales at events open to the general public at least 48 hours prior to any such sale.
